Our mission is to love God and people with all we are, to grow in spiritual maturity as a family of God, and to serve the community and world by proclaiming and practicing the Good News of Jesus Christ.

You will often hear our church mission summarized with three words: Love, Grow, and Serve. These three words represent the three areas that we want all church members involved:

  • Love God and people through a Sunday morning worship service

  • Grow in Christ through a Growth Group

  • Serve through ministry in the church, community, and world

Our Beliefs

There is one and only one living and true God.  He is an intelligent, spiritual, and personal Being.  He is the Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe.  God has eternally existed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit

God the Father

God the Father reigns with providential care over His universe, His creatures, and the flow of all human history.

Jesus Christ is the promised Messiah of the Old Testament.  As God the Son, Jesus lived a sinless human life, died as a substitute for our sins, was buried, and rose again in victory over Satan, sin, and death.  Jesus will return one day to reign eternally.

Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is present in this world to convict people of sin and to make people aware of their need for Jesus.  He lives in every believer from the moment of salvation.  He gives each Christian direction and power for living, understanding of the Bible, and spiritual gifts.

The Bible

The Bible is God’s Word to man.  It is completely true and is the supreme standard for Christian faith and practice.

Mankind & Sin

Mankind was created in the image of God, but has rebelled against God.  This rebellion is called sin.  Sin separates man from God.  Man is restored into a relationship with God through salvation.

Salvation is a gift from God to mankind.  Mankind can never receive this gift by self-improvement or good works.  It is completely a work of God and occurs when a sinner confesses sin and trusts in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness.  Eternal life begins the moment one receives Jesus into life by faith.

Baptism & Communion

Every believer of Jesus is commanded by God to participate in the ordinance of baptism and communion.  Baptism by immersion symbolically proclaims that a believer died with Christ, was buried, and raised to new life.  Communion, or the Lord’s Supper, is an act of worship where the believer remembers God’s work of grace in Jesus.
