Our Sunday morning worship service is designed as a gospel-centered worship experience. We praise and worship God through a mix of modern, contemporary and traditional songs and hymns that are cross-generationally relatable. The message, brought by Pastor Andrew Winburn, likewise proclaims Christ Jesus and teaches application of His word to our lives. The Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 am. Everyone is welcome!
We encourage you to experience community through Small Groups. These groups offer the opportunity to build connections through Bible study, fellowship, prayer, accountability and love. We have a variety of Small Groups that meet Sunday mornings at 9:15 am. Let us help you find the Small Group that is right for you, or click here to learn more about Small Groups offered at FJBC.
We are committed to bringing glory to God by making disciples through partnering with parents in this mission. Extended Teaching Care serves birth through Kindergarten, while Kids Connection serves 1st through 3rd grades. We are currently teaching The Gospel Project curriculum in Small Group, Sundays at 9:30 am, and in Extended Teaching Care and Kids Connection, Sundays at 10:30 am.
We have a robust and active Student Ministry at FJBC. Pastor of Family Ministry Marty Middleton leads all Student Ministry curriculum, missions, and activities. Students participate in Small Group, Sundays at 9:15 am, family worship in the sanctuary on Sundays at 10:30 am, and Wednesday evenings for The Well at 6:30 pm. The Well is a time when students connect with God and each other, guided by caring leaders, for a time of Bible study and worship. If you are a student, we invite you to join us!
One of our goals at FJBC is to foster a cross-generational congregation. Our senior adults gather each Monday for JOY Choir, during which time they sing uplifting, traditional hymns. Lunch Club is held on the second Thursday of the month where everyone comes together to enjoy a meal in Christian love and fellowship.
Our Family Life Center is open to members and visitors of FJBC, alike. The gym facilities offer space for basketball, volleyball, and weight training. The fellowship area of our FLC serves as a generous gathering space for meals, meetings, events and activities. Annual gym memberships are available for church members, as well as for those in our community. For membership information or to reserve the fellowship hall contact Pastor Marty Middleton.
Our preschool ministry is an extension intended to serve the mission of Fort Johnson Baptist Church. Our teachers and staff provide loving care and education through age-appropriate activities and curriculum. Our goal is to provide the best developmental and learning environment for each child to reach his or her full potential – mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. We work to keep low teacher-to-child ratios, and create lesson plans that are gospel-centered and Christ-centered. Contact School Director Lindsey Henderson for more information.
