Fort Johnson’s Sunday morning worship service is designed as a Jesus-centered worship experience. We have a diverse and talented worship band that leads in a style that is cross-generationally relatable. Expect to hear a mixture of modern and contemporary worship songs along with well-known hymns that celebrate Jesus as savior. The message will likewise proclaim Jesus and teach how to apply His word to life. The Sunday morning service will last approximately 60 minutes.
Fort Johnson Baptist places a high value on children and youth. To ensure the safety of your children, we use KidCheck, a state of the art electronic check-in station. If you plan to visit us this Sunday, you may preregister your children at go.kidcheck.com. Elementary age check-in is at the entrance to the East Building. Birth through K5 check-in is behind the sanctuary in the Education Building.
Fort Johnson Baptist places a high value on children and youth. We have a Youth Ministry Director who oversees all youth biblical education and activities. Our youth worship in the sanctuary on Sundays and then gather each Wednesday evening for a time of Bible Study and worship. Checkout our FJBC group on Facebook for details on events and activities.
Even though Fort Johnson Baptist has an experienced, yet young leadership team, we value senior adults. Our goal is to remain a cross-generational congregation. Our seniors gather each Monday morning for JOY Choir where they sing well-known hymns. They also gather the second Thursday of each month for the Adult Luncheon Club.
Family Life Center
Fort Johnson’s state of the art Family Life Center offers basketball, aerobics, volleyball, weight training, and seasonal league sports. Annual memberships are available for church members and for those in our community.
The purpose of the Christian School program is to extend the ministry of and help accomplish the purpose of Fort Johnson Baptist Church by providing loving care, education, and age-appropriate opportunities for the development of each child enrolled to his/her greatest potential – mentally, physically, spiritually, and socially. We accomplish this purpose through classes with low teacher:child ratios, and developmentally appropriate lesson plans that are grounded in Biblical truths and the love of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
